What Exactly is a “Good ‘Burger?”
It’s not about hamburgers folks!
A Good ‘Burger is a business, organization, or an individual in the greater St Pete area making a positive impact in the community. In honor of a former mayor who referred to his citizens as “burgers” (St Petersburgers), the Chamber established the Good ‘Burger Awards to honor members who contribute to the local community in a positive way.
How Did Sarah Earn this Amazing Nomination?
Well basically she is everywhere in the community!
Sarah serves on the St Pete Chamber’s Board of Governors and was selected as the 2019 Chair for the Chamber’s Ambassador Council. As the Chair of the Ambassador Council, Sarah helps organize and facilitate monthly meetings with the Council, serves as a liaison between Chamber staff and the Council, and volunteers her time to ensure that new, current, and potential Chamber members take advantage of their Chamber membership. Sarah engages with new and existing members helping them garner business success using the Chamber’s platform of benefits. She also leads the Chamber’s monthly New Member Orientation Luncheon held the second Wednesday of every month – welcoming and engaging new members to the “Best Chamber in the Galaxy!” Sarah served as Co-Chair for the 2018 Good ‘Burger Awards and helped organize and plan another successful and amazing awards celebration.
When she’s not volunteering her time and efforts with the Chamber, Sarah can be found at our downtown office off Central Ave or working from home. Sarah serves as the Sugar Mama at Cyberlicious®, helping businesses develop strategic branding and marketing ideas based on data and analytics. Sarah facilitates monthly lunch n’ learns with Cyberlicious® to help share her knowledge and expertise with local business owners. Leading these events, Sarah is able to offer each attendee valuable insights and takeaways that can be implemented into their business on their own. Her passion for helping others succeed along with her bubbly personality are invaluable to the Cyberlicious® brand and our team.
When we asked her how she felt about the nomination, Sarah responded, “WOW!! What an honor to be viewed as a leader in our community. I am shocked and amazed by this MVB nomination. To think that I am viewed as one of the Most Valuable ‘Burgers, and to have the opportunity to share this recognition with past winners such as Tom James, Deputy Mayor Dr. Kanika Tomalin, and Mayor Kriseman is SWEET!”
