We came. We taught. We celebrated. National Small Business Week 2025 was packed with flavor, and cyberlicious® was right in the middle of it all.
A Week of Education, Celebration, and Community
From May 5–9, we hosted five days of free, in-person seminars at our St. Pete HQ, welcomed over 100 small business owners, and joined in some of the city’s biggest small business events. Whether we were breaking down SEO or cheering on startups at Pitch Night, we kept one thing in focus: helping local businesses grow smarter and sweeter.
Here’s a look at how the week unwrapped and why you’ll want to join us next year.
The Sweetest Marketing Seminar Series in St. Pete
We kicked off the week with our in-house seminar series, featuring daily strategy sessions led by the cyberlicious® team. Business owners came hungry for information and left with action plans and a few minty-fresh takeaways.
SEMINAR #1
Local SEO: How to Outrank Your Competition
We covered how to get found across Google, Bing, Yelp, and Apple Maps, with tips to boost visibility and bring in more foot traffic.
Minty Tip: If you haven’t claimed your Google Business Profile yet, start there.
SEMINAR #2
Make Your Website Work for You
We helped attendees turn their websites into lead-generating machines with SEO-friendly structure, clear calls-to-action, and design choices that guide visitors toward results.
Minty Tip: Your website should never be “set it and forget it.” Refresh your content regularly to keep things sweet for both users and search engines.
SEMINAR #3
Getting Started with Google Ads
We stripped out the fluff and showed how Google Ads can drive real results, even on small budgets. From campaign setup to conversion tracking, we broke it all down.
Minty Tip: Don’t pour money into ads without setting up goals. Track conversions to see which clicks are actually paying off.
SEMINAR #4
Getting Started with Google Ads
From Shorts to full-length content, we talked about how to turn views into value. This session focused on getting started with video, even without a production team.
Minty Tip: You don’t need a fancy camera to start. Use your phone, keep it real, and focus on content your customers actually want.
SEMINAR #5
The Truth About Ranking on Google’s First Page
We wrapped the week by busting SEO myths and showing what really works in 2025. Attendees learned how to compete in search, even without a massive site or budget.
Minty Tip: Page one rankings are built with consistency and strategy. Keyword stuffing? Still not the answer.
Psst… we don’t wait for May to drop the good stuff. Our semianrs run throughout the year, and they’re just as sweet. Visit our seminar page to see what’s cooking, mark your calendars, and sign up if you are interested in learning more!
St. Pete Pitch Night at Black Leaf Cigar & Wine Lounge
We headed out to support local innovation at St. Pete Pitch Night, hosted at Black Leaf Cigar & Wine Lounge, a Black-owned gem in the heart of the city. The night started with a jaw-dropping performance from our friends at Zubrick Magic Theater, who kicked things off with style.
A huge congratulations to Hablamigo, who took home the win! We’re proud to cheer on entrepreneurs doing big things for our community.
Food Truck Friday in Williams Park
After five jam-packed seminars, we closed out the week with flavor, literally. At Food Truck Friday in Williams Park, we joined fellow business owners for food, laughter, and celebration. From networking over noodles to catching up with community partners, this was the cherry on top of an incredible week.
